Nathan Junk is a legal assistant at Jeckering & Associates, LLC in Columbus, Ohio, supporting the firm’s attorneys with legal research, file management and client communication.
Background
Nathan earned his undergraduate degree in History from Kenyon College in 2023 and spent 2023–2024 in Vienna as a Fulbright Austria participant. He is a member of the Hampshire Honor Society of the National Football Foundation & College Football Hall of Fame (2023) and was named to the Kenyon College Merit List in Spring 2021.
Interested in the legal system from a young age, Nathan is drawn to civil litigation, probate and business law, the same kinds of disputes the firm takes to court. He approaches the work with close attention to detail.
Research behind the argument
Nathan researches the legal questions behind a case, keeps the file organized and makes sure clients hear back. His drafting work at the firm has included a motion for default judgment.
